2011 Exhibition - the '50s, '60s

2010 Exhibition - the '70s

A factory or plant shop offering vinegar, or a flat with a highly-polished wall unit, make our visitors smile, as they recollect the time of their youth which passed by Grundig radio-cassette recorders or reel-to-reel recorders.

Younger guests have an opportunity to experience a life without mobile phones and computers, have a peek at drawers and cupboards full of everyday items. An old kettle, a washing machine, "marago" coffee tins, stamp albums and other "treasures" hidden in the liquor cabinet of an everlasting wall unit, arouse the visitors' enthusiasm regardless of their age.

Office of the 1st Secretary, and the People's Republic Propaganda Room, are the next stops on our tour of the Museum. A massive desk with three telephones, commemorative vases, Lenin's works, medals, decorations and a collection of banners, enormous wall hangings and a palm tree – obligatory at that time.
